Founder and Chair of the Board of Directors

Through her own experiences and those of loved ones, she realised that societal attitudes towards mental health needed to change. Stigma and ignorance play a huge part in ensuring that people stay silent when they are suffering and so she aimed to create something that would both better educate people and celebrate mental wellbeing. In Bristol, it was clear to her that there was no better way to do this than with a festival. So, after joining forces with Katie, Freedom of Mind was born!

She’s just finished her A Levels and is taking a gap year currently, with the aim of doing some extensive travelling towards the end. Founding Freedom of Mind has taught her a lot about her own mental health - most importantly, she need to allow herself to rest!
