Daisy is a young mother and aspiring event coordinator with a background in theatre and film, having performed and created amateur productions for over 12 years. She has studied a BA (Hons) in Drama and Film Studies at Kingston University and a MSc in Event Management at The University of the West of England. She has worked a variety of different job positions in the past, one of which was running a drama and music therapy workshop every friday with elderly people who have differing levels of Alzheimer's and Dementia. She has helped organise and run fundraising events for the charity Oxfam and actively taken part in events raising money for Cancer research, Alzheimer’s, Dementia and children born with lower limb abnormalities. Daisy is an individual who enjoys helping people and providing them with an event in a space they are free to be and enjoy themselves without fear of any kind of judgement. She has a strong familial history surrounding various mental health conditions and has suffered with her own mental health in the past which is among the reasons why she has joined the Freedom of Mind team. In her spare time she enjoys doing cross stitch and playing video games.
